“Whose Photography… Seriously?”
BIO
Born and raised in the Daytona Beach area of Florida, I began photographing at 12 years old after begging for a point-and-shoot camera for Christmas. By my 14th birthday, I had saved up enough money to buy my first DSLR camera which allowed me to start working professionally in high school doing mostly headshots, events, and senior portraits.
From 2018-2022 I continued my education on full scholarship at New York University’s (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts as a Photography & Imaging major graduating with my BFA and departmental honors. At NYU, I worked in the photography department’s equipment hub, acted as the VP of Photography in the Fashion Business Association, and was a Resident’s Assistant (RA). In New York City, I got to experience photographing New York Fashion Week multiple times, intern with photographers like Shxpir, and visit museums and galleries weekly meeting with some of the art world’s top curators and artists.
Since graduating, I have returned to my much-changed hometown, working at Gallery500 as a Fine Art Consultant, and wherever I can to uplift the local art scene.
About Me (Natasha Fenga)
With over a decade of photography experience, I’ve honed my craft from a young age, using my camera as a medium to understand the world around me and capture the authentic beauty in everyday moments. Educated at NYU on a full scholarship, my artistic background allows me to approach each session with a unique perspective. This artistic lens, combined with a deep curiosity about our universe, and a genuine desire to spiritually connect with my sitters, ensures your portraits are raw, real, and beautifully true to life.
Let’s create something timeless together. Seriously.
BASED: Daytona Beach area (including New Smryna Beach, Port Orange, Ormond Beach, and all of Volusia)
OPERATING: Space Coast and Orlando areas
This has included judging Volusia and Seminole counties’ students for the Congressional Student Exhibition in the country’s Congress building. Additionally, earlier this year, I completed an artist’s residency at New Smyrna’s Atlantic Center for the Arts (ACA) under mentorship from famous photographer Renée Cox, where I was the youngest artist and one of the only artists ever accepted from ACA’s own Volusia County.
Over the years, my art has been collected by CollegeBoard and exhibited nationally, including at the New York City Photoville Festival, the Jacksonville Library, and the Southeast Museum of Photography. I’ve been featured in Washington Square News, ISO magazine, and ArtPremium magazine as an "Up and Coming Gen-Z Artist.”
